MUSICAL THEATRE MONDAYS!!!

At A125 Kids, we believe in creating a positive, nurturing environment where students can learn to express themselves, shed their inhibitions and discover their own special voice within. 

Kids of Broadway (Ages 5-6)

Mondays from 4-5p beginning October 7th

The perfect introduction to musical theatre and Broadway shows! Work on basic singing, dancing and acting while rehearsing for an end-of-semester performance for family & friends! 

No class November 25, December 23, 30. Final Class & Performance on January 8th.

Cost: $300

KIDS OF BROADWAY 2 (Ages 7-8)

Mondays from 5-6p beginning October 7th

 

Have fun and make new friends while working on singing, acting, and dance skills! Class culminates with an end-of-semester performance for family & friends! 

No class November 25, December 23, 30. Final Class & Performance on January 8th.

 

 

Cost: $300

Broadway Workshop Jr. (Ages 9-12)

Mondays from 6-7:30p beginning October 7

 

Throughout the semester, students will sharpen their singing skills, song performance, dance, and acting while working on solos, group numbers and scenes from Broadway musicals. This fun workshop culminates with an end-of-semester performance for family & friends! All levels welcome.

No class November 25, December 23, 30. Final Class & Performance on January 8th.

MEET THE TEACHERS

Justin Anthony Long

Head Instructor/Director

 

Having served as the Education Projects Coordinator & head musical theatre and improv instructor for the Mayo Performing Arts Center Performing Arts School, Justin has over a decade of theatre education & teaching experience. He loves helping young performers learn, grow, and achieve their dreams.

 

In addition to his teaching, Justin is a professional actor, writer, and director, having most recently performed in the world premiere musical MUTT HOUSE with Center Theatre Group (CTG) at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. He starred as Joseph in 3-D Theatricals’ and Marc Kudisch’s (HOUSE OF CARDS) production of JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT and played the Jock in FOR THE RECORD’S THE BRAT PACK. Justin also played a featured role in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar nominated film, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET.

 

While shooting his hit musical web-series CITY OF DREAMS, Justin directed Tony Award Winners Billy Porter & Stephen Oremus along with Two Time Tony Nominee Laura Osnes. The show itself went on to be featured in USA Today, The New York Times, and Playbill.com as some of the web’s best comedy and musical programming. Justin also directed seven episodes of the web-comedy SORRY, ARI which was featured on IndieWire along with numerous plays, musicals and cabarets for the New Benefit Theatre. 

 

Justin co-wrote the book & lyrics for the new musical WELCOME TO SHOOFLY which was selected by Stephen Schwartz (WICKED) for the 2017 ASCAP/DreamWorks Musical Theatre Workshop. His short musical COOKIE SOIRÉE won Broadway Producer Ken Davenport’s 10-minute play & musical contest and the 2014 Sound Bites Audience Choice Award for Best Musical. With his writing partners, Lee, Burns & Duncan, he wrote the opening musical number for the 2018 CBS DIVERSITY SKETCH COMEDY SHOWCASE.
